"OPPORTUNITY" is a collection of new mixed medium works inspired by seasons of change. Lately, it seems an inordinate number of friends are in the middle of significant seasons of change. Some are faced with health and wellness changes, other are enduring relationship changes and many are hoping for career and financial changes. I am choosing to look at the changes in my own life as OPPORTUNITIES rather than challenges. I hope this show slows you down, reminds you that there is beauty all around that can inspire you to embrace life's challenges with hopeful confidence to thrive in the midst of change. A new OPPORTUNITY is just around the corner, I'm certain of it!

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in northeastern North Dakota. My parents are highly creative to this day and I credit them with infusing my life with creative purpose. My favorite class in grammar school was Art. My passion for art, music, theater and writing followed me to college where I decided more practical degrees in Organizational Communication and Psychology would provide a potentially more lucrative career path.

I've been an artist all my life. I'm highly visual. Whether IÕm cooking, painting, working on digital projects or designing the carefully planned rooms of a private residence, it all feels like art to me.

I started Minor Details in 1988 using my business name for consulting and design coordination projects. In 2001 I chose to call my then newly formed Interior Design Firm by the same name. I currently work in a variety of fields through my firm. We specialize in creating inspired corporate and residential interiors. I also continue to accept business consulting, graphic design and digital media projects.

My work has been received by an international audience reaching clients in Japan, Canada and throughout the United States.
